TXO Sliding Sleeve – The TXO style of “sliding sleeve” is a very common type of circulating device. This “sleeve” is opened by downward jarring action by your wireline operator. The sleeve is manufactured from P-110 material with a standard tubing size profile in the top sub and lower packing area. The inner sleeve is 17-4 stainless steel.
Every sleeve is gauged for proper ID, opened and closed, and then tested with cold water to 8,000 PSI. These items are available in 2.313 TX and 1.875 TX ID profiles.
TXA Sliding Sleeve – The TXA Sliding Sleeve pictured opens with upward jarring action by your wireline operator using a type ‘B’ Otis™ shifting tool. These TTM sleeves are manufactured from P-110 materials. The internal sleeve is 17-4 stainless steel. All O-rings are high temperature Viton™ rubber material.
The vee packing seals are glass imbedded Teflon™ for long life. Each 1.875 sleeve is gauged for proper ID, opened and closed, then tested to 8,000 PSI. As with all TTM products, the TXA sleeve is available in other materials for use in hostile environments.
