The 2.31 ‘F’ Baker-Type Landing Nipple is a selective profile that can be located with a single ‘F’ profile nipple in the tubing string or using selective tools for locating a particular one of multiple ‘F’ profiles in a tubing string. Some operators use more than one size packing bore in a tubing string. The ‘R’ series of profile is compatible to the ‘F’. The Baker type ‘R’ is a bottom No-Go design.
Halliburton-Type: 2.313 TXN Profile Nipple – The Halliburton/Otis-type TXN profile nipples are a bottom No-Go design and are usually installed at or near the lower end of a tubing string. The TXN is non-selective and only one of the same size can be in the tubing string. Many wireline operators will locate the No-Go of a TXN profile to use as a reference point when conducting wireline operations. Standard products are manufactured from P-110 or L-80 materials. We also manufacture from several grades of stainless steels.
Halliburton-Type: 1.875 TX Profile Nipple – The Halliburton/Otis-type TXN profile nipples are a selective design. Operators in certain circumstances have installed several ‘TX’ profiles in a tubing string. It is recommended to have 30 ft. between profiles but can be reduced to 8 ft. in “special” conditions. Our standard material is P-110 or L-80 steel but many other materials are available. The ‘TX’ can be supplied in a box to pin configuration.
